Lama Yeshe House Membership Program
Generosity is the most natural outward expression of an inner attitude of compassion and loving-kindness.” - H.H the Dalai Lama
Our Generosity Model
Lama Yeshe House's financial policy is based on a dana or "generosity" model. Our regular ongoing classes and activities are offered freely. The generosity model is intended to encourage a joyful motivation to give, rather than "purchasing the Dharma", one can pay it forward. Helping others in their journey as you practice the path yourself is a tremendous act!
All those who are preserving Dharma: especially remember that Buddha said making one step,
even taking one breath for preserving the Dharma has infinite benefit.” - Lama Zopa Rinpoche
A stable budget and income is essential for success. Our members help ensure Lama Yeshe House has the financial resources to maintain continuous activities, invite 3-4 visiting lamas and teachers a year for retreats, seminars and empowerments, and develop programs so that students in the community can have a progressive and coherent spiritual journey over the years to come.
If the economy is unhealthy everything else is in trouble.” - Lama Thubten Yeshe
