Our Generosity Model
Lama Yeshe House's financial policy is based on a traditional Buddhist dana or "generosity" model. No one is ever turned away and there are no mandatory costs to attend. We just encourage others to give what they can in the spirit of giving back and paying it forward. Helping others in their journey as you practice the path yourself is a tremendous act!

Members Create a Stable Foundation
Our sustaining members help ensure Lama Yeshe House have a reliable budget to maintain year-round classes and activities, and invite senior guest teachers to offer retreats, seminars and empowerments, and develop programs so that students in the community can have a progressive and coherent spiritual path over the years to come.

First, consider your membership to be your contribution to all the regular weekly classes and meditations at Lama Yeshe House. So you can attend all weekly activities without the need to contribute more - unless you want to :-) . Dharma Sponsor level membership includes free attendance to special teachings, seminars and retreats with visiting senior teachers as well.
Plus all members receive a subscription to Mandala magazine, regular prayers done for you by Sangha at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, access to the LYH Dharma library collection, and special invitations when we have visiting lamas and teachers.
