How to Develop Bodhicitta
Thursdays, 7pm - 9pm | DROP-INS WELCOME
A course on the techniques for developing bodhicitta, the "awakening heart" of compassion and love that strives to achieve our fullest potential in order to benefit others. Bodhicitta can be said to be the core teaching and practice of Mahayana Buddhism
Learn the practices for overcoming bias, cultivating love and compassion, and integrating what His Holiness the Dalai Lama calls the "attitude of universal responsibility", stepping beyond self-centered thinking and moving to an other-centered life.
Together we will read and discuss teachings on each of the methods and practice them together during class time. Then, each week home exercises will be provided to practice daily in between classes.
