Our capacity for clarity, stability and unbiased love and compassion is limitless from the Buddhist point of view, and awakening this capacity is the ultimate goal in being of compassionate service.
In this Friday evening talk, Geshe Sherab will share why developing stability and wisdom in ourselves is important in order to be able to support others, as well as the benefits of living with compassion along the way.

About Geshe Sherab
Born in Nepal, Geshe-la has been a student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche since childhood, and completed his twenty-plus year geshe studies at Sera Je Monastery in South India. Geshe Sherab held the position of headmaster of the Mount Everest School at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, and was appointed to serve as acting abbot of Kopan Monastery for one year. He has served the FPMT organization in various capacities over many years, including a position on the FPMT Inc. Board of Directors.
Geshe Sherab is the current resident teacher of Thubten Norbu Ling in Santa Fe, NM, where he spends half the year. The other half of each year he travels and teaches at FPMT centers all over the world.
Geshe-la has kindly visited our Lama Yeshe House community for many years during his tours and is a beloved teacher.
